Welcome to our cattery breed cats

    MAINE COON

    <

Upon first meeting a Maine Coon, you immediately experience mixed feelings – it’s admiration, respect, and an irresistible desire to touch. These cats possess magnetism; you can admire their grace and restrained nobility for hours. Despite their truly giant size, Maine Coons are very gentle and good-natured, combining a “light” temperament and strength.

Maine Coons are free-spirited cats and they need their own living space, yet they are infinitely devoted to their owners. They are the best friends for adults and children. You will never see aggression from a Maine Coon; even the smallest children can play with them. These big cats love to lie down somewhere near their owner and secretly observe them. Sometimes it even seems like Maine Coons know much more about us than we know about them…

One could talk for hours about the habits and wonderful character of the Maine Coon. These cats are amazing and unique. Invariably delicate and balanced, trusting and sensitive, curious like children. The Maine Coon is polite and patient with strangers but does not tolerate familiarity. One could even say that these extraordinary cats possess innate intelligence.

Your Coon will never leave you alone – it’s a cat-friend, always there, always happy to take an active part in all your household chores, willingly lying next to you to watch an interesting movie, oversee the preparation of a proper dinner, and will definitely keep you company by the computer.

The Maine Coon is a breed whose natural essence has been minimally altered by humans. These large cats value their and your freedom and will never impose their games on you, but they will eagerly participate when you want them to. Maine Coons have an excellent memory; they can remember many intonations and words and will understand their owner even with a barely noticeable glance or gesture.

The Maine Coon has an unusual voice… these cats hardly meow; they make pleasant purring sounds, especially when there are several Coons in the house and they communicate with each other.

Another unusual trait of Maine Coons is that before drinking, they “paw” at the water, can dig around the bowl as if shooing something away, sometimes even “digging” in the water. Apparently, this is a genetically inherited remnant of their “wild life” when they had to drink from ponds and streams, and needed to first push away dry leaves and branches.

The wild magnetism and natural charm of the Maine Coon, the stern gaze of a “forest predator,” and childlike sincerity make you freeze in silent admiration, endlessly enjoying trying to touch and hold close this extraordinary animal. And in the end, you realize that living without a Maine Coon is simply impossible…

Think, read about this wonderful breed on catteries’ websites, communicate with breeders about care and maintenance, attend shows. Choose! And then, for many years, you will be warmed by the love and devotion not just of the biggest, but of the best, most extraordinary, and most beloved cat – your Maine Coon!
